Have you stopped by the studio and checked out the Parent Guild bulletin board lately? If not, you might not know about some of the things happening at Twin Cities as we move closer to our spring performances! Here’s what you might have missed:
•Spring Apparel: Orders are in. Please stop by the Front Desk and pick up your Cinderella and/or recital t-shirts.
•Hy-Vee Flower Bouquets: We are taking orders for flowers for spring ballet and spring recital. All orders will be by pre-sale only; no bouquets will be available to purchase at Braden Auditorium. You can pick up an order form (yellow or blue, color-coded by show) at the studio; orders are due April 15.
•DVD orders are being taken now for the spring ballet and recital, and sales will continue through May 6. Cost is $25, cash or check payable to TCSD Parent Guild.
•The last Guild meeting of the school year is coming up on Thursday, April 13, at 6:00 p.m. Please note that this is a date change from the previous schedule. We will talk about spring and summer events and opportunities (including some new FREEBIES and exciting changes coming your way!), plan for the new year, and vote on open officer positions. In addition, we will draw our spring raffle winner for a $50 gift card to Dancingly Yours!
•Have you tried the tasty and convenient meals from Prep, Freeze, Cook yet? We will be holding a fundraiser at their shop on Oakland Avenue (off of Towanda-Barnes Rd., near Ovation Cinema) Thursday, April 20, from noon-7:00 p.m. TCSD will receive 20% of all purchases that day, no fliers needed. Share the news with your friends and family in the area!
•Need parent hours for Performance or Ballet Company? Be sure to check out the Sign-Up Genius website and enter access code Spring123 to see our volunteer needs. In particular we will need volunteers to supervise dressing rooms during the recital on May 6, and 3-4 people to assist with our Spring Gala and Repertory Performance on Saturday, May 13.
See you at the studio!
