In November, thoughts turn to gathering with friends and family—and if your family is a dance family, then chances are good that some of that gathering happens around a studio or a stage.
With that in mind, TCSD and the Parent Guild want to thank all of our dance families for supporting our many projects, programs, and fundraisers. For instance, did you know that through your generosity we were able to donate 139 books and soft toys to Children’s Home + Aid? Here are some other ways you can cheer on our talented dancers and dance teachers, help people in need, and support the arts this season:
•Hy-Vee Fundraiser (November 12-13)—Download and print out a hard copy (required) of the voucher you see below, and our 100% nonprofit dance school will get a percentage of sales at the Bloomington Hy-Vee grocery store.
•Food Drive (November 5-16)—Bring in canned and boxed items to the studio to feed the homeless at Home Sweet Home Mission. A list of needed items is on the Guild bulletin board.
•The Baby Fold’s Festival of Trees (November 19)—The Performance Company will take the stage at 4:30 at the Interstate Center with a variety of upbeat holiday dances. All ticket sales and proceeds from this popular weekend event go to The Baby Fold.
