Autumn may have just started, but at Twin Cities School of Dance it’s Nutcracker season! Open auditions for non-Company parts for the 35th Annual Nutcracker Ballet are today at 1:00, and there is a host of activities and events planned for the next couple of months leading up to the shows:
°ISU Homecoming Parade (Saturday, October 8). A sign-up sheet for walking participants is on the Guild bulletin board at the studio.
°Barnes & Noble Book Fair (Sunday, October 23, 1:00-5:00). Volunteers will be needed to help at this fun event for all ages! Sign-up coming soon.
°Food Drive and HyVee Fundraiser (November 12-13). We will be collecting food for Home Sweet Home Mission in November. In addition, HyVee will donate 5% of sales (with flyer) to our nonprofit dance school for those two days. Details and fliers coming soon!
For even more information, please consider attending our next Guild meeting: Thursday, September 29, at 6:00 p.m. Light refreshments will be served, and all attendees will receive a raffle ticket entry for a chance to win a $50 gift certificate to Dancingly Yours Boutique! Winning ticket will be drawn once per semester, so attending three meetings per term gets you three entries!
