Welcome Back!

We hope your school year is off to a great start, and that you’re ready for a wonderful new season here at Twin Cities School of Dance! Last week, the studio was full of activity as many new and returning families stopped by Open House to complete registration and pick up new dance supplies in the boutique. (You can check out a few photos, below.)

Please remember that classes start Monday, August 22, and that the first Parent Guild meeting of the year is on Thursday, August 25, at 6:00 p.m. Guild meetings are the perfect place to meet other dance parents and get more involved in your child’s dance education.

Enjoy the cooler weather this weekend, and we’ll see you at the studio!

Boutique shoppers enjoyed 10% off the entire store.

Plenty of customers picked up new leotards, tights, and other dance supplies.

There is always information to be found on the Parent Guild bulletin board.

Goodbye Summer, Hello Fall!

It’s hard to believe, but fall classes start in less than two weeks! Remember that the studio will host an Open House next Tuesday, August 16, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. This is a great time to stop in and pay your tuition, stock up on dance supplies in the Dancingly Yours boutique, and for new students to check out the facility!

In other TCSD news, dancers from the Performance, Repertory, and Ballet companies performed at ISU’s Bone Student Center as part of the McLean County Senior Expo. The Parent Guild also hosted a welcome table and held a free raffle for Nutcracker tickets. Hundreds of area senior citizens stopped by to visit the table and talk with some of our dancers. Some of them even shared their own dance experiences—among the attendees were a former professional ballet dancer and a woman who tap-danced in Vaudeville! Special thanks to the Calvert family and Calvert-Metzler Memorial Homes for sponsoring this event. Check out a few photos, below!
